Hello Cheer and John,

We have one of your off spring via the Elders in Camas, WA who got an white mini cattle dog, Jewel, and a Red, Jeb?, from you a few years ago. We haven’t registered Colby yet. He had to get neutered since his testicles never dropped. We love this little 18 month guy so much. Our 11 year old started him in Dog 4-H last year. They are juniors and are finishing a fabulous year of competition winning many awards, most notably grand champion for Showmanship at the Clark County Fair, champion at the WA State Fair, and they are competing for Grand Champion this Sunday on the final day of the WA State Fair. He’s done very well in Obedience, Rally, and Agility too!

Many people ask us where we got such a smart, beautiful, hard-working, and SMALL dog. Now I found you via the registration paperwork. I will send them your way – the Right Way!

We live on acreage and love to see him run. He tries to herd our cats and barks at the cattle, alpacas, llamas, and goats of our neighbors.

Regards,

Lori, Tony, and Taylor Rhodig

Regards,
Almost 7 years ago I bought a standard, chocolate, Oueensland Heeler male from Rightwayranch. Tea is a standard that’s a little larger than most heelers. He stands 21 1/2 inches tall and weighs in at 64 non-fat, solid pounds. Tea is out of Rightwayranch’s breeders, Purple (45lbs) and Mariaha (40lbs). His name therefore, is listed with N.A.P.R. as “Purple Mariaha’s Tea Bone”. Tea is extremely smart and has been a very trusted companion. At the time I bought Tea I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a “Chocolate Heeler”. I asked to see five blues to pick from, and was asked if I’d like to see a chocolate that was also ready to adopt. I said sure, simply on the basis that I had never seen a chocolate ACD. Upon viewing the pups I bent down and jokingly said, “alright which one of you is trouble? Your coming with me”. Tea herded the four blues back into one corner of the pup sized kennel, then started picking his paws up towards me. Well, that did it! Tea picked me so I, in turn, picked him. I have never been sorry for my choice. His temperament is such that a little dog can harass him to no end without reprisal. He gets along well with all big dogs too, right up until somebody bites him. At that point size ceases to matter and Tea goes from passive to full on aggressive until the other dog surrenders. Tea’s natural herding instincts are on display daily. He was a great pup, and is now a great dog. Loyal to the max, and protects anything he deems to be his, or mine.
I wish to extend my grateful thanks and well wishes to all at Rightwayranch for my Tea Bone. He is truly a joy in my life.
Thank You,
James K.

That’s SO funny!!! Zip is so CRAZY about chasing windshield wipers that we finally made a video to make the folks who visit the ranch laugh. It continues to be one of the favorite ranch comedy videos!

The sense of humor in heelers is truly one of the things I love most about them! I met another one of your dogs in Prineville and the owner was SO happy with her. You truly have raised some amazing dogs and I’m just so blessed to have them in my life . . . thank you for that 🙂

Yes . . . I’m ready for a new puppy in the fall and am as serious as I can be. I’m so excited to finally be lined up . . . I can’t wait to see who the new member of our family will be. Perhaps on one of your “placement trips” we can meet you like we did before and pick her out (if there’s more than one female 🙂 I still have the picture of Troy holding tiny Zip up the first day they met. She has her front paws wrapped around his hand. She still uses her paws like hands, never seen a dog as dexterous as she is!

Again, thank you so much Cheer. I will look forward to seeing you in the fall. I think we will turn around twice and be driving to Prineville to meet you! 🙂

Have a great day and stay cool!

I got my mini Queensland Heeler 3 years ago. Maverick has been the smartest and sweetest dog I have ever owned! Rightway Ranch takes pride in their puppies! I have referred freinds to Rightway that have purchased companion heelers as well that have received happy, healthy, and very smart puppies. Cher was very helpful and knowledgable. Thank you Rightway Ranch! I don’t think we will ever own anything other than a Queensland Heeler ever again!

Cheer is great and always responds promptly. Our family puppy now 5 months today is a great friend, guard, and entertainment to us. We kept him on the diet cheer recommended and his coat is so shiny, everywhere we go people turn their heads. Thanks Cheer and we plan on adopting a mini red girl sometime next spring. We just want our puppy (Mumia) to have his puppy hood and stable training first. Mumia can already lay, stay, sit, roll over, open doors, crawl, go back, go forward and jump up, and potty on command. Thanks Cheer for your wonderful gift, we promise to give him the best.

I purchased Pistol a couple months ago, and he has been just a joy to have. He is exactly what I was looking for. He bonded to me just like you said he would. He took a bit to get used to the routines of our household, but he has adjusted just fine. He loves his two big siblings and plays all day with them. He makes me wonder why I never owned a heeler until now. Thank you so much. I think your dogs are awesome!

Hi Cheer, We love our little heeler we got from you last year. She is ready to be a puppy raiser now. She is a bit small @ 20 pounds but is a lot of dog and working already on our cows as a back up for me since they are bait trained cows. We would like to get a bigger standard female next. We like the blue or tri with the mask and a great temper. Let me know when you have such a female. We live near Ashland and meeting somewhere would be good. No hurries as we will wait for one of your dogs. Take Care Later Ann

I got my pup about two months ago to replace my mini Aussie who had gotten killed. I was a little slow to get another one but this pup bonded with me on the way home from Oregon and has made a big difference in my life already. Goes everywhere with me.jh

Hi Cheer, Thought i’d let you know how the pups doing ( Rufas) I took him to a car show on Saturday to help get him socialized, and this guy fell in love with him and offered me 1,000 for him right then and there…He then offered 2,000 …Fool that I am I said, sorry “ I love the little guy to much.
I gave him your website and told him to give you a call…So you might be hearing from him soon.
Back to Rufas, This little guy is smart as a whip, He has already learned to sit on command, he retrieves a ball, and is leash trained, but most the time he doesn’t need one.
Starting tomorrow we will work on his potty training, although he’s pretty good already by whimpering when he has to go. Yup, he’s on his way to be a super dog !

I have had a Blue Heeler I bought from you almost 3 years ago. He was Born Nov. 26, 2011.
I have had dogs all of my life and used to trained and show dogs also. Roper (my dog) has been fantastic, I bought him a week after my mother passed away and he helped me get through a hard time in my life. He continues to be the best dog I have ever owned. His intelligence and friendly attitude are amazing! Everyone absolutely loves him and I have referred many people to your website, I had another one last week asking me for your web site.

Good morning Cheer , Just an up date on our pup , We named him Whiskeys Whisper. He is one of the smartest pups I have ever worked with. He has taken on the role of protector of my turkey poults. which are now bigger than he is , but don’t tell him that. my Oregon silvers ,and Burbon reds are his friends. I have a few that can fly out of their yard, so he ever so gently heards them back around their yard fence to the gate and waits for me to get there to open it. He just took off like a flash , and when I finally saw what he was doing , there were 2 turks out up in our woods, and he went and brought them down. I am so happy wih this little guy. I will try to send pictures soon,

I have two dogs from Rightway Ranch- both are exceptional. Beautiful dogs, Cheer’s breeding program produces animal of excellent health, high intelligence, a strong but balanced working drive, and they are also very adaptable. These dogs ARE NOT tennis ball fanatics. They are smarter than that, by far. In my opinion, any dog breeders these days would be lucky to get such magnificent quality dogs from their breeding programs.

Rightway Ranch’s 50 years of breeding experience has produced dogs for a better tomorrow- these wonderful bloodlines need to be treasured and preserved for the future. I am not kidding. We need these great dogs around, just to remind us what great dogs can be.

Whether you prefer one of Cheer’s larger Queensland Heelers or one of her carefully bred, perfect little Miniatures, you are about to experience one of the finest dogs you ever had. I am a huge fan of Rightway Ranch’s breeding program. These dogs are lucky that Cheer loves the Queensland Heeler, and I feel extra fortunate to have two of her fine dogs.

Hey Guys!

I purchased a female puppy from you guys in November. I just wanted to give you a small update.
#5 is now Charlie. She’s amazing. She’s smart, funny, loyal, and dang cute. I literally get
compliments everywhere I go. She matured to 14 pounds. She was spayed at 5 and a half months.
I really wanted to let you guys know that I appreciate the care that went into her breeding.
Characteristically, besides her size of course, she’s a very traditional heeler. I’ll admit,
given her size, I wasn’t sure I would be getting a typical heeler. However, you guys have done
a wonderful job preserving the breed while breeding in some size adjustments. I posted a couple
of pictures. Again, thank you so much. She’s a doll!
If you have any questions regarding Charlie, feel free to ask! 🙂

Chip just turned a year last week. He is 19 inches and 32 pound with a wonderful disposition and the most intelligent dog I’ve owned in the past 60 years! He met another Rightway heeeler at a training class a few months ago. Chip is admired by many people who meet him and want to know where he’s from…so I hope you get some referrals as I’d like to see more of your very special dogs here in Santa Barbara. If you have any inquiries down this way, I’d be happy to show them Chip. He’s well trained. Parents: Fir and Hamms. I am t exaggerating; people marvel at his disposition and intelligence. I’ll try to resend the photos. P.S. He’s so
good with other dogs and people and such a good rodent destroyer we’ve decided not to neuter him.

Best Regards,

Art Purkheiser

Trailboss is doing great! She is my best friend. Such a loving dog. She has done very nice on the leash. When inside house she follows me all around. She gets along with my sister cat even. Everyone that had doubts about a 2 year old heeler cuz they heard heelers can be aggressive an not trust worthy around kids have been proved wrong 😉 shes not aggressive by any means and listens to me and pays attention to what im doing all the tinm shes extremely loyal. An she loves my son which is just great! Shes wonderful! An a 5 star to her breed Australian cattle dog / Queensland heeler. Plus her size is very nice in the car 😉 20 pounds vs. 70 pounds is a big difference. Thanx again guys 😉 we love her!

Hi Cheer,

We are so happy with our little dog Badges, we wanted to show you some pictures. He has filled out to at least 30 pounds, and is a regular riot. He looks like a flying squirrel when he chases after a ball. He put new life into our 7 year old Biscuit after she lost her mate last February. In these pictures they are playing with an old softball. Badges is so funny – the whole point of the game for him is to run ahead and get the ball and then allow Biscuit to chew it out of his mouth. He can get almost an entire softball in his mouth, it’s incredible. He seems to be so happy to let Biscuit chew on his little face and snarl and bark at him, he won’t give up that ball until she pries it out of there. And then, as you can see in the last couple of frames, he charges her at full speed and hits the ball out of her mouth, and there they go again. She loves him so much, they are a crack-up.

Badges travels well, he’s so smart – he seemed to already know phrases like “Stop!” and “Drop it!” And he’s so loveable, he just goes limp when you pet him, he’s almost cat-like. Of course, that doesn’t stop him from treeing the neighbors dumb cat on a regular basis, that’s another of their favorite games.

And, oh yeah, in closing, I’ll say he’s a great guard dog, very sensitive, excellent ratter! He likes to watch over the cook pot, very good campfire dog.

thanks again and again, and hope you will have a very Barky Christmas – The Bruckmans down in Chico Ca
Merry Christmas and thanks for the great dog!

Riata’s red male & Larch blue female. (Mi) Cheer, I can’t express how happy we are with the two dogs. The female; Bella is a sweet and very smart wonderful dog. She is the alpha and protector of the family. The Maltese and her are inseparable and can’t be without the other. Jake, the male is built like a tank, and not to bright. He is the play dog, and is a riot. He is gentle and loves to play all day. The three are so happy together. They are about 25 lbs now, and we have a 3 acre electronic fence so they run and run some more. These dogs are of such high quality and temperament; I recommend you to all that ask. If you ever need a reference; please just call or email me. WOW what great dogs!!

Hello Cheer,
This is kim meeder. I have been thinking of you so much since we saw each other last. I just wanted you to know that the puppy my husband bought from you . . . has become the joy of his life! She makes us laugh every day! She is just so FUNNY! What a precious gift you have blessed us with. She is a very fine dog indeed.

I know that you raise and sell many puppies a year. It must be a bit like sending out little “messages in bottles”, never really knowing the rest of the story. The rest of Zips story is that she is doing GREAT! She is deeply loved and such a huge gift in our lives. I just wanted you to know 🙂

God Bless,
kim
ps- I thought this picture would make you laugh!

Hello Cheer!
I just wanted to let you know that our new puppy from you has been such an absolute JOY! Troy did decide to name her “Zip.” She is just so funny! She sleeps on his chest and is with him nearly every minute of the day. As hard as it was for him to loose his only dog . . . Zip has been such a gift! Thank you so much for providing such a sweet little girl.

I will continue to keep you posted as to my sisters situation. They are planning on moving soon and once they get settled into their new home, she will know more as to what they are looking for. Their family has spent a good deal of time with Zip and they really LOVE her. We will see 🙂

I just wanted to you to know . . . once again . . . how much one of your animals has blessed our life. Thank you for that 🙂
God Bless,

Boomer’s Birthday

Hi Cheer!

Got a lot of birthdays in November-December and I don’t want to miss my pup’s birthday. He was born on the 21st right?

Crazy that he’s already 4. He’s completely mellowed out with strangers now (unless you approach the truck or bend down to him before he knows you well enough). Walks right up gently and waits to be petted. Two of the girls in our HR department keep treats in their desks and if we walk around that side of the building he leads me right to the door leading to HR. Lol
And if I happen to leave him in the truck I get asked, “where’s Boomer?” A lot. A lot of people comment on how well behaved and calm he is. And I have to tell them I got him from a great breeder. Hope you keep breeding well into retirement because after Boomer crosses the rainbow bridge I’ll definitely want another Heeler pup from you (if not sooner).

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Emily Reyneke
